Holy s*** this album is scary good! I’ve always enjoyed this album on CD, and thought that it was well done, but this (pressing) brings new meaning to well done. A must have!
BlackHaze
This pressing sounds DAMN good. Amazing album too. Buy without hesitation, cheap or not. This is an "effortless" Foos album. That's not a knock, they've just honed their craft very well and the magic was right on this one.
Cobandis
Everyone should buy this because it rocks and sounds great and is dirt cheap.

I agree with w4toosh's comment. Pure analogue quality. I always found the songs really catchy, however the loudness in CD/mp3 made the album impossible to hear from start to finish. If you need to explain your friends how analogue can be better than digital, use this album as an example.
hulk
Interesting. Thanks for sharing. It's disappointing that DG would fight so hard to make this album on tape, only to abandon it all at the last step before pressing the vinyl. That said, the glimmer of hope is that the article says there is "no indication" of the mastering format at that it was "probably" a digital master. I wonder why, if they had a high res digital master, that the MP3 downloads were taken from a rip of the vinyl? Seems like a backwards step.
DART-SKRIMER
The recording may have been fully analog, but the process to cut the lacquer for the vinyl included a digital Step. https://www.analogplanet.com/content/foos-best-years-recorded-analog-issued-double-45-0
Thabel
The whole recording process was analogue, start to finish http://www.soundonsound.com/people/foo-fighters-recording-wasting-light
Musical Aura Island
This isnt a fully analog pressing. It is, however, a well done cut from digital files.

What's the difference between this release and the other US release here on Discogs? RIght above it actually.
Sharpbringer
The only difference seems to be the catalogue number on the MP3 dropcard. This release: 88697-84493-1RE1I1Original release: 88697-84493-1I1Everything else is the same.
Umge
I think this release contains only the 2 vinyls and the other one is a pre-ordered super pack containing a CD and lots of goodies.
Wenyost
This is made with some serious quality. For analogue appreciators.
