For those who loves the track EARLY SUMMER, please check the track SKELETON DANCE from BARRY MILES and let's see ... ;)
Did you listen to Barry Miles ? Did you like it ? There's some similar moods in both tracks. Don't you think so? ;) Barry Miles was a drummer... He could also play the piano. ;))
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ahahahahahaha ahahaha ahahaha ahahaha ahahahaha ahahaha ahahahaha ahaha ahahahah
Can you remind us again two years from now? .
I recently purchased a Top copy with intact obi. $800 bucks but well worth it for this masterpiece. Looks like a new release even though it's over 40 years old. Only played a few seconds but I plan to play it in it's entirety during a listening party after i get my new turntable. For now I have youtube. Such raw talent! Such rhythmic spirtit captured in this original pressing!
Please upload a picture of the obi to this release page if you wont mind.
Captain America
You should buy the latest reissue and help people on how it compares to your original in sound quality.
Those with this album, can any of you please upload more images of the front/back covers, LP sides, along with any inserts etc? That would be incredibly appreciated, thank you In advance!
could someone tell me what makes this album so bloody in-demand??
there are very few pressings of it which could be one of the reasons
The recent popularity on Youtube makes this album in demand, but unfortunately the supply of original pressings are low so people raise the price.
I was one of those people and I fell right in the trap
Youtube's algorithm recommended a video with the full album to many people, that video now has 5,3 million views and enough of those many people are interested in a vinyl copy of the album.
The best of Ryo Fukui! I love this album! Regards!
For Ryu Fukui's "early summer" lovers check the Barry Miles track "Skeleton Dance" from the record "Scatbird"...
Please be patient as there is a CHRISTMAS worldwide reissue of Scenery and Mellow Dream on your way on CD/LP.
I have no idea on which label this will be out, apparently a new label, I just know it has been planned for reissue very soon.
Where did you hear this? I l would love that to be the case!
Where will that be coming from? What's your source? I'd absolutely love to own a physical copy of his music
Snake Rocking
I was hooked on this album from the first song. The inclusion of a Miles Davis Quintet song starts you off strong, then the other compositions keep it going. I never thought I was a fan of piano-heavy jazz but Fukui immediately changed my mind. Always glad to find more Coltrane-like jazz. I hope a high quality version is coming soon
